My father bought this copy from Reddingtons Rare Records in Birmingham in November, 1966.

This was his ‘playing copy’ - because he said it was the best sounding version he’d heard. He has 21 copies of this album, so I guess he knew the difference!

Condition:

Both records grade as VG+

Nice and glossy with some clearly visible surface scratches. However, these scratches don’t sound. I’ve played both records through and the sound really lovely. Very warm and rich.

Nice heavy vinyl - 140g at least.

Very quiet between the tracks.

The labels are also VG+ with a few spindle tracks when tilted to natural light.

The inners are VG with some seam splits and obligatory creasing.

The cover is VG+ with a nice gloss, straight and fully legible spine. A few edge dents and a little light wear to the opening.

All in all, a really good example. The sound is REALLY good!
