Two WWII-era swing singles (four cuts) by the sultry Peggy Lee, best known for her hits "Fever" (1955) and "Is That All There Is?" (1969). These songs give a hint of her later husky sound, but her voice here is surprisingly youthful and clear.
Both the records are in excellent to near-mint condition, one still in its original paper sleeve (the other sleeve had become too brittle to handle).
Songs: Waitin' For The Train To Come In / I'm Glad I waited For You (Capitol, 1945) It's All Over Now / Aren't You Kind Of Glad We Did? (Capitol, 1946)
Shellac 78 records are less flexible than vinyl records, and we pack them with great care, in multiple layers of cardboard and cushioning, to prevent their being damaged in transit. All listings for 78-rpm shellac records offer either Fed-Ex Express Saver  (expensive but potentially quicker and safer), or USPS Media Mail (inexpensive, but longer in transit).
