VINYL IN VG+ / EXCELLENT / NEAR MINT CONDITION

Some very light / superficial surface marks / light wispy fine hairlines visible  / very light scratches - nothing serious - no deep scratches - Have checked vinyl under a bright light

i.e There should be no skips, jumps, or sticks, but there maybe some periodic/regular low level background surface noise/clicks and occasional crackles

Sound quality  should be excellent – and there should be no deterioration in sound quality

When the vinyl is played, the background noise should not overwhelm the music - nor ruin the listening experience

Record labels are in superb near mint as new condition

Record labels are clean and the print is clearly visible. 

 

No writing on the record label

 

No sticky residue or discoloration.

 

Except for few/very light trace of spider-trails & - no significant /very light spindle wear.

 

SLEEVE & INNER SLEEVE IN   VG + / EXCELLENT  TO NEAR MINT CONDITION

The sleeve has general light storage wear from rubbing & handling etc  i.e the sleeve has some small light minor creases / blisters & very slight wear on/near the edges

PLUS some scuff marks & light staining/foxing

indentations/similar like trace of pen-marks

 

some bumps on the edges / corners/ sleeve is  slightly bent on corner

The spine is in great condition with the text on the spine / is clearly legible

No seam splits or tears.

The sleeve is a bit grubby on the rear from rubbing against dark print.

No / some discreet hand-writing on the cover (indicating further information)

light indentations/scratch marks on the front/back of the sleeve

Sleeve inner has light record ring wear/light creases/light handling wear - but no splits or tears.

Inside of gatefold is in superb condition.

Rear of sleeve is in nice clean condition

Sleeve has been nicely cared for.

Sleeve has lasted very well - In nice condition for its age

The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. I DO NOT SELL ANY VINYL GRADED LESS THAN VG, UNLESS IT IS ANYTHING THAT IS VERY RARE OR SPECIAL.
