No Alternative Soundtrack
The 28 song soundtrack for the indie film No Alternative, coming on April 2. A coming-of-age drama that blasts open the world of grunge-era teenagers in the early '90s. High schooler Thomas Harrison is determined to start his own alternative band after the suicide of Kurt Cobain — it’s an obsession that blinds him to what’s either the mental collapse, or the eruption of musical genius, of his little sister, Bridget. Bridget boldly rejects her brother’s music, and the music of an entire generation of slackers, by taking on the persona of a gangsta’ rapper named ‘Bri Da B.’ The writer and director of the film, William Dickerson, uses his own 1990s high school band "Latterday Saints" and his sister's gangsta' rap persona "Bri D B" for never-before-heard original music to complement the '90s music (Mudhoney, Sebadoh, Lisa Loeb) of the time.

This brand new item ships from a brick & mortar record store.  The cover is excellent condition but may show very light signs of shop wear. Please note this comes in the typical clear PVC sleeve for a picture disc and these very often split on the sides or bottom where the corners of the record sit and jostle during shipping.
We ship all albums in a devoted LP mailer with two cardboard pads, one on each side of the record, for max protection.  A tracking number will be provided at the time of shipment.
