KAY WEAVER "New Favorites Of" LP, 1974? Columbine Records USA. Jacket has some aging and the beginnings of seam split at a couple of places, also, Sam Austin, of Sun Tan Woman fame, autographed the sleeve next to his track. Black vinyl is clean and shiny with a couple of light marks.
Another unknown Kay Weaver Lp on Columbine Records. Catalog # K-14. Song Poem, Beat Of the Traps type stuff with some hints of Funk and Wah Wah Guitar amidst the Middle of the road country pop. Fight Fan Summary is fairly golden, with bizarre lyrics and some groovy funk bass and was way guitar. Sun Tan Woman is obviously great, or Sam Austin would not have signed his name. The Toughest Man From The South has that Country Funk thing going. More Wah Wah... Less said about the rest, the better. I have a few other Columbine LPs listed. God help us all.
