Offered is a hard-to-find, early (1953) 33 1/3 RPM vinyl jazz recording, featuring some of the groups that would go on to define and refine many of the jazz forms that would follow (have a look at the tracklist below).

The LP vinyl is of heavier stock, and is in nice shape. A great piece of Jazz History:

THE VINYL :  EX+ :  Lightly played with minimal evidence of spindlewear, both sides of the LP retain all of their original gloss with bright labels. Present on both sides are a few light marks, including some sleevewear from the original paper sleeve and a few minor hairlines. There are no deep marks or scuffing.

As with most original 1950's-era recordings, this one plays  with as-made, occasional  background noise.


THE COVER :  VG+ :  Both seams and the spine are intact / the front cover shows moderate scuffing / there is also some paper fraying on the seams and on the spine / bright front cover colors / age -related yellowing on white background portions (largely the back cover) / no writing, tape, dirt, paper loss or stains.

We have placed both the cover and the LP into protective plastic sleeves.
