I don't do FREE SHIPPING because I would have to add the shipping cost to the farthest place possible, like shipping clear across the country.  That practice adversely impacts the buyers who live close to me, who would pay lower shipping costs because there is a shorter distance to ship.  I realize that that FREE SHIPPING sells 11% more because many buyers do not recognize that FREE SHIPPING could impact them with higher costs.  But because I wish to protect buyers who live near me, I offer calculated shipping.
