Mondo is excited to unveil the soundtrack for Marvel’s Luke Cage, the Netflix original series, with collectible artwork of the bulletproof hero by Matthew Woodson. Composers Adrian Younge (Something About April) and Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest) have combined forces to produce one of the best scores of 2016 featuring an inspired, genre-bending blend of orchestral score and 90's hip-hop beats, filtered through the sonic lens of the works of Ennio Morricone.

It's no surprise that the score hovers in the same terrain of the Spaghetti Westerns soundtracks of Morricone - the narrative of Luke Cage plays out like a modern Western, only set in Harlem. Muhammad and Younge have meticulously crafted one of the most unique sonic landscapes in the history of television.

Up for auction is a brand new/sealed copy of LUKE CAGE Original Soundtrack (Season One) from MONDO on yellow vinyl (2x12). I purchased this soundtrack directly from MONDO and had every intention of opening it up and playing it, but completely forgot about it. I recently found it among my other vinyl records and really don't have a desire to play it anymore, so my loss is your gain. Note that it is in pristine condition with no bends, marks, rips, or damage of any kind. The only minor flaw I see is on the bottom-right corner of the back side which looks a bit frayed (I have included a close-up picture for you to be the judge). This obviously does not affect the quality of the product itself, but I wanted to show it for your consideration. All pictures shown are of the actual product you will be receiving (no stock photos). From my understanding this item is long out-of-print and with the show now being officially canceled, we are not likely to see any new vinyl soundtracks from this show any time soon.
