Offered is an unusual pressing of the most popular and commercially successful release by the great rock band Journey - Escape (aka: E5C4P3).

This pressing is one of a handful produced by Columbia / CBS, using a noise reduction technology called CX Audio. 

Wikipedia  has a page dedicated to a description  of the CX Noise Reduction System.  You can go to the Wikipedia site, copy "CX Audio" and paste it into their seach box.

We have listed the unusual deadwax matrix on our offered copy of Escape below.  Additionally, Columbia
placed a verification sticker on pressings that utilized the CX Noise Reduction System, and we have included a close-up photo of that in our photo gallery (the sticker is on the back of the cover - lower right corner).

THE VINYL -   NM : This beautiful record is lightly played with minimal evidence of spindlewear (please see close up photos of the labels). Both sides of the LP surface retain all of their original gloss. 
 
Other than some light cosmetic sleevewear from the original paper inner sleeve, there are no marks on either side.
 
Bright, undamaged, Custom Columbia labels (please see photos). 
                                                     
The record shows exceptional care and handling, and the stereo playback is impressive.
