This is a lot of 4 MOMS MABLEY comedy albums from the 1970s: YOUNG MAN SI, OLD MEN, NO; MOMS MABLEY BREAKS IT UP; THE FUNNY SIDES OF MOMS MABLEY; and MOMS MABLEY OUT ON A LIMB. Three are on Chess Records, one on Mercury Records. Jackie or Moms Mabley was a standup comedian on the African American Chitlin Vaudeville circuit of the 1950s to 1970s. She is a considered a peer and pioneer of African American humor. The three Chess Records were recorded at live performances. Condition notes: Jackets are NM, except for small previous owner stamp; vinyl rating on 3 of the records is NM, one is VG+. The inner sleeve is missing on one lp.
