Give A Little Love (mono & stereo)-Bay City Rollers (Arista AS-0149) Released in 1975
DJ/Promotional Copy.
The group's 2nd Arista release that did not chart in the US. It would be another month before the group would finally find success in the US with their next single 'Saturday Night', where it zoomed up to the #1 position.
One will notice that the catalog number for this single and 'Saturday Night' are the same. When Arista was able to license their new song 'Saturday Night' once it became apparent that 'Give A Little Love' was tanking, this single was pulled and the new track was quickly shipped in it's place but kept the same catalog #.
As of this posting there are no domestic copies known to exist.
This single has been in my collection since 1975.
Import copies are bountiful in the U.K., Germany, Belgium, Australia, Canada, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Yugoslavia, New Zealand, and The Netherlands, where the track was popular.
