Here's something different!
A 6 track 12" 33rpm two-sided acetate cut at Alchemy Mastering in London on 23rd November 2017 for Island Records of Dermot Kennedy's 'Keep The Evening Long' album which was eventually released in April 2018 only in The Netherlands on Universal Records. The regular pressed and released album now commands a £300 price tag...this is MUCH rarer.
Acetates are cut individually one at a time, not pressed like a white label test pressing so very very few of these would have ever been produced. I would imagine that less than 10 copies would have been ordered by Island.
Side A: A Closeness Glory All My Friends
Side B: Boston After Rain Shelter An Evening I Will Not Forget
I have only played this once to check the tracks, I am unsure if they are alternate takes but the running order differs slightly to the released version in that Side A has 4 tracks on the released version and 3 on Side B.
CONDITION: Tested on a high end system. It plays Mint Minus with the odd crackle during quiet passages but nothing repetitive or heavy
