Shirley Collins 1960 Collector Records EP JEB 3 'The Foggy Dew' with Robin Hall on guitar.
The fully laminated sleeve is as clean and fresh as its' age of sixty years will allow. If I had to be picky then maybe a hint of creasing and ringwear should be mentioned but that's it.
As for the vinyl it's flat and shiny with pristine labels and in room daylight it looks fabulous. I've inspected both sides of the spindle hole and really can't such evidence of the disc having seen a turntable. Indeed, on Side A there is still a 'pressing' vinyl whisker protruding up from the hole.
Yet always the acid test is under the brutal and unforgiving desk lamp which shows everything. As such I see a few very light hairlines which are probably as a result of the vinyl living in its' shaped inner sleeve (albeit polythene) over the decades along with handling by way of inspecting and admiring the record!
Suffice it to say then that this is one great example of this highly collectible EP and I rate it a solid 9 /10 for condition. But of course return it to me if you disagree!
99p start and the auction will run to the end.
