The elaborate box set, limited to 50,000 copies worldwide, is each accompanied by a luxuriously designed, 252-page hardcover book. This book, published exclusively for this edition, was written by the award-winning radio producer Kevin Howlett and dedicates a separate chapter to each album.

It also contains background information on the history of the remasters and the manufacturing process of the vinyl pad. The book, which appears in square LP cover format, contains a lot of photos that cover the entire career of the Beatles, many of which were not taken into account for the booklets of the 2009 CD Remasters.

The tracks include all twelve Beatles albums originally released in Great Britain, which were released for the first time between 1963 and 1970, the album Magical Mystery Tour, which was originally released only in the USA and is now part of the band's album catalog, as well as Past Masters, Volumes One & Two, which contains A-Pages and B-Pages not released on albums, EP songs and rarities.
