Probably the most serious music lovers and also the chance listener would be Quartet familiar with Dave Brubeck, or at least heard of it have, if perhaps unknowingly - because the bekanneste track, "Take Five", has the soundtracks of many movies decorated, including "Mighty Aphrodite", "Pleasantville" and "Constantine". The piece is famous due to its distinctive, catchy saxophone melody as well as because of the unusual 5/4-beat - so characteristic, that this piece of jazz became a pop hit.
"Time out" from the Brubeck Quartet along with the super hit "Take Five" is a classic of jazz as well as the audiophile, belongs to a copy in each record. And now published analogue productions and the final Edition on 200 g premium vinyl, with 45UpM for quality record pressings manufactured (acoustic sounds an en suite, the industry-acclaimed LP pressing plant).
Why final? This absolutely störungsfreihe double LP of the music on four sides is distributed, reduced distortion and loss of high frequencies, because due to the larger distances between the grooves of the stereo pickup can better follow the trail. But also more details next to the vinyl make this publication into something special. For the first time in its history, "Time Out" is presented here with a luxuriously appointed liner. Inside you will find eight fantastic black and white photos, then emerged during the recording session at Columbia's famous 30th Street Studios. Sony music has for the SACD reissue provided the pictures acoustic sounds, and also allows for the LP reissue.
It's also a special cover - exceptionally stable. Produced by Stoughton printing, the cover consists of a printed sheet that is stuck on a heavy cardboard box and look and feel when touching the authentic impression 'old school'. These credits is a beauty, never worked so vividly colorful, iconic cover art of 'Time Out'.
