Originally released in April of 1962, this album features Lateef's continued exploration of Middle Eastern music, as well as covers of themes of the films Spartacus and The Robe. Lateef plays flute, oboe, tenor saxaphone and a Chinese wind instrument called a xun. Features session players including the legendary Barry Harris on piano, Ernie Farrow and Lex Humphries.
Pressed on translucent blue vinyl and limited to 500 copies.
