The Finnish Death Metal machine from DECAYING strikes back! Since 2010 these 4 guys are beeing active and have left only destroyed landscapes on their musical journey away from the Finnish lakes on their 10 releases so far. As D.D.R. #032 in our vinyl-series, the 5th full lenght studio album ''Shells Will Fall'' will be released in a lovely vinyl edition via Defying Danger Records. On ''Shells Will Fall'' DECAYING once again offer an massive album, atmospherically & lyrics primarily geared towards historical wars and destruction. Who can imagine that a band combines the mood of HAIL OF BULLETS or ASPHYX with less doom influence, but with more classic Swedish Death Metal, knows roughly how the Finns sound. But also GRAVE like tones or vocals in the vein of BOLT THROWER are not that far from in the 8 tracks of DECAYING. Nevertheless the quartet from Helsinki by no means simply repeats what other bands already have done, but always brings the special surprise to their music with unexpected, small twists. The tight guitar sound in combination with desperate sounding screams and deep growls conveys an oppressive atmosphere. The lyrics about war and then the damn album cover by Roberto Toderico make this mood perfect! The LP version, which appears in classic black vinyl, is limited to 300 copies, comes with a lyric insert, free download code and is also delivered with an album sticker!
