1950 Tribal, Folk and Cafe Music of West Africa. Field Recordings, New York. "A definitive collection, recorded and edited by Arthur S. Alberts. Illustrated with photographs by the editor. Limited edition, two thousand numbered sets of which this is No. 309. Published by Field Recordings, 475 Fifth Avenue, New York 17, N.Y." Format is 12 x Shellac, 10", 78 RPM. This box set includes 10 B&W photographs (one corner crease) and a 22-page booklet. The vinyl is in very good condition, with fingerprints and smudge marks consistent
with use. No scratches but they are untested! The sleeves and box have heavy storage wear - chipping to the cardboard edges, split to the outer box. Please review all of the pictures as they are part of the description. Consider adding this rare African music to your collection!
