Thanks for viewing my sale for a pristine, original release of the Rollers’ ONCE UPON A STAR, imported from England in the late ‘70s. This, their 3rd album, released in 1975 when the group was going supernova, featured the charted hit “Bye Bye Baby”, but strangely was never released as an album in the USA, so most tracks were not readily available. CONDITION: NEW OLD STORE STOCK (NOS) unplayed 33 rpm record in MINT MINUS (M-) condition; album cover in VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) condition, shows some shelf wear and aging but overall nearly new looking. Please supersize photos top of  ad for representation of condition. 

Originally  BCR were "the first of many acts heralded as the 'biggest group since the Beatles' and one of the most screamed-at teeny-bopper acts of the 1970s". During "Rollermania", the lads were worldwide teen idols and by 1975 were one of the best selling British bands. The group's line-up featured numerous changes over the years, but the classic line-up during its heyday included guitarists Eric Faulkner, Woody Wood, singer Les McKeown, bassist Alan Longmuir, and drummer Derek Longmuir. After purchasing the Bell Records label, this was the first Rollers album the legendary Clive Davis released on his fledgling Arista Records, which thanks partially to this album became a record industry powerhouse.
