Description: I received this promotional copy of Manitoba's Wild Kingdom - ...And You? when I worked in radio. Never played it and as with many of my extra albums it has been stored away for over 30 years in a closet standing upright with hundreds of other unplayed LPs, so the record itself is mint, unplayed in its original sleeve, having never been removed from it except to take a partial photo for this listing.
Great songs from Handsome Dick Manitoba formerly of the Dictators and Ross The Boss formerly of Manowar. Too bad they only did this one studio album.

I was intrigued at the fact that the guitarist from Manowar's first six albums was on it and listened to it a couple times then put it away. What's funny is how much it's grown on me since giving it another try recently.

First off, this album is a whopping 25 minutes long. Ten tracks and I think maybe one is over three minutes long. I did roll my eyes a couple of times. "Haircut and an Attitude"in particular is pretty hilarious with lyrics describing how to become the next "supreme rock dude" and audio clips from Beatles interviews.

Aside from the lyrics, though, what really matters is that, musically, the album is very enjoyable. Ross "The Boss" is definitely an under-rated guitarist. His licks are badass and while the majority of the tunes tend to be fairly basic, he really shows his ability in a few songs including "Prototype" and "Fired Up". "I Want You Tonight" is probably my favorite. It's a poppy, short fist-pumper that, compared to the other tracks, is probably as close to a power ballad as these guys ever would have gotten, but it's verrrry catchy. And hey, even though the guy calls himself "Handsome", Manitoba's voice has a good punkish tone to it that really caps off the music.

Overall, the songs have a lot of energy reminiscent of a "metal" version of The Ramones, if that makes sense. The songs are short and fast with awesome guitar-work and fun solos. That's it.    
Condition: Vinyl - Mint and unplayed - Never removed from sleeve except to take partial photo of album to show it is mint and unplayed.

Cover - The condition is very good plus - There is a small promotional gold embossed promotional statement on the back cover as seen in the photos. The spine is nice. See photos.  Corners are very good with a very tiny amount of wear on bottom and top of spine. Paper sleeve in mint shape. Please see photos or ask for more if you want.
