WHITE ZOMBIE MAKE THEM DIE SLOWLY~1989 QUIEX 1st PRESS LP~INNER~SLIGHT WARP DNAP

Media: LPs
Condition: VG
Cover Condition: VG
Label: Caroline Records
Reference Number : CAROL 1362
Country: US
Date: 1989

Original 1989 Caroline Records FIRST pressing with spine of record mislabeled as "Let Them Die Slowly" and pressed on translucent QUIEX VIRGIN VINYL complete with original inner sleeve.
Vinyl has many light surface sleeve scuffs/hazing and a slight warp that does not affect play holding grade down. Labels are excellent. Original inner sleeve has cornerwear/edgewear, splitting center of left and bottom edges, and splitting/ripping along entire right edge. Cover has heavy cornerwear, heavy edgewear, upper right corner is cut, spidering around the edges, a ding/crease lower left corner, and sticker reside upper left corner of front cover.

If you’re not familiar with Quiex, it's like this: As CDs began coming on the scene in the 1980s, record companies started pressing Quiex II lps for primarily for radio stations. The idea was to show that vinyl was still king and sounded as good--or better--than CDs. MOST Quiex pressings were marked as Quiex that were shipped to radio. But if too many were pressed, they were packaged as regular LPs and those lucky enough to unknowingly buy them were then blessed with clearer sound! This translucent brown Audiophile beauty IS one of those pressings.

GRADING
Here is the standard PlanetarySounds grades records by (with help from Goldmine).
Remember, even with such a guide, grading is still subjective. Most albums, unless noted, are visually graded under bright lights. We strive to provide as much information as possible about each album. Please ask questions if unsure about anything BEFORE you bid.
Still Sealed (SS) As good as it gets. Unopened and most likely perfect all around.
Mint (M) Absolutely perfect in every way. Maybe played once. Handled with utmost care.
Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect record. The record shows no obvious signs of wear. Covers show no more than the most minor defects. The same holds true for inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.
Near Mint Minus or Very Good Plus Plus (NM- or VG++) Just a hair more wear than NM, but still very close to Near Mint overall. Vinyl may have nominal sleeve or paper scuffs, cover may have hint of wear. VG++ will be just a fraction below NM- due to one additional tiny defect.
Very Good Plus (VG+) Album and cover show some light signs that it was played and otherwise handled with care of it. Record surfaces may have slight surface scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect play. If not for a couple things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint.
Very Good (VG) Increased scuffs or light scratches, surface noise evident upon playing. Covers and labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers, or minor seam splits.
Very Good Minus (VG-) Certain background noise, possible click or pop, flawed item. Covers heavily damaged, major splits, tears, writing, etc.
