Label :  Columbia Records - CL 949 / Original 1st Edition Mono Pressing - Hollywood Pressing Plant - Please See below for the Deadwax Matrix

Format :  12"  33⅓  RPM  Vinyl Record & Album Cover

Country :  U.S.

Released :  March 4, 1957

Genre :  Jazz

Style :   Hard Bop

THE VINYL : NEAR MINT

NM : This beautiful record is lightly played with minimal evidence of spindlewear (please see close up photos of the labels). Both sides of the LP surface retain all of their original gloss.

Other than some light cosmetic sleevewear from the original inner sleeve, there are no marks on either side.

Bright, undamaged, Red & Black Columbia 6 Eye labels (please see photos).

The record shows exceptional care and handling, and the mono playback is impressive.

THE COVER : EXCELLENT +

EX+ :  Please see photos / laminated / well-stored with some minor scuffing, and a small tear at the center of the front cover (no paper loss) / bright colors / all of the seams, including the spine, are intact / no writing, paper loss, paper tears, dirt, or stains.

The cover (as with the LP) was likely stored in plastic these many decades. Notice the bright white background color on the back, largely free of the age-related yellowing more common with 6 Eye releases from the 1950's.

Included is the original, rounded plastic inner sleeve (please see the photos in our gallery - we have included a photo with the LP in that inner sleeve).

We have placed the record and the cover into separate, new protective plastic sleeves.

Tracklist :

Please see the photos in our Gallery of the record labels and the back cover.
