THE B-52'S-S/T 1979 WARNER BROS. RECORDS LP BSK 3355 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! The raucous debut effort from the Athens GA New Wave stalwarts, The B-52's, in this auction. Catchy lyrics, dance rock themes and rock lobsters all came up from the South at the tail end of 70's and New Wave was never the same after. Tracks such as Rock Lobster, Planet Claire, Dance This Mess Around & their version of the Petula Clark classic Downtown all appear on this must debut effort from the band. All fans of the B-52's or the genre need this one in their collection, it's an essential!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just a very light hairline on side 1 that definitely does not hamper play at all, plays well throughout. The cover has mild wear along the edges, mild rubs on the corners and a wee bit of light staining along the top edge(see picture). The original lyric inner sleeve has 2 mouth tear and a small split yet holds the record fine. A terrific buy!!
