Blind Gary Davis - Harlem Street Singer LP UK 1st Issue Silver on Black Fontana Label LP from 1961.
Lovely copy of this early Blind Gary Davis LP. Original flip back sleeved UK issue on the Fontana label. Classic Blues and Gospel tracks and probably the best of his released albums.
The front laminated album cover is VG/VG+, decent and solid with some creasing down spine edge and slight corner wear. there is some ageing to the white area on the opening edge and ageing to the unlamented reverse, a small hand written price also on the reverse. Other than the signs of ageing it is a solid and still very presentable cover with no splits or unwanted writing.
The heavy vinyl is graded Excellent and is very clean, no scratches and not often played, great playback and really crisp.
original poly-lined inner sleeve shows some ageing but no splits.
This is another classic Prestige Bluesville recording released in the UK through Fontana and is getting harder to find in any condition.
