The black metal formation STREAMS OF BLOOD, founded in 2009, is calling with their 4th full lenght studio album for ''Erlösung''. 8 tracks in just under 44 minutes are the statistical values of a wicked, devilishly creative record, which manages to dare a balancing act from traditional salsify slices to newer releases, which is succeeds. With ''Erløsung'' STREAMS OF BLOOD pick up pretty much where their predecessor ''Allgegenwärtig'' was ended. The whole album lets the black metallic drumming, as well as the heavy, not quite Doom-like, but dragging sound come to the fore. It interlock nicely and again result in varied songs. Misanthropy and hatred well up from practically every pore, supported by the poison and bile-spewing Thymus, which underpins the malignancy and the furor of the sound with a visceral performance. This is the red/black marbled vinyl edition, limited to 100 copies only & with 12" insert.
