ARTIST - THE ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA TITLE - OLE ELO LABEL - JET/UNITED ARTISTS CATALOG NO - SP-123
RECORD GRADING - EX COVER GRADING - VG+
The record looks and plays great. It does have a name on the label. The cover is all intact but has age and shelf wear. This is a DJ only record on yellow/gold colored vinyl. Very curious, I thought that this record was available only in a different cover that Special Programming Aid on the bottom front. This appears to be the regular cover, but it is stamped "For Promotion Only" on the back. Did they run out of covers for this release?? perhaps. Or maybe this was a left over colored vinyl from the production run. I am not sure which. The vinyl is fairly rare however, it makes for a nice ELO collectible.
thanks for looking.
International bidders- Due to some minor issues, I am only able to ship First Class or Priority International for the next few weeks. I thank you for your understanding.  Please wait for an invoice. And as always, I do not change values on customs labels.
I can combine shipping! Many times it means I can ship up to 3 LP's U.S. for the same cost as one, and possibly more 45's. International bidders - Combined shipping will be only based on weight, so I will need to know how many items are bought before sending invoice. Thanks again!!
VJ'S VINYL GRADING SYSTEM: (based on Goldmine)
Mint - never used, once a record is opened, the top you can get is mint minus. Mint Minus - A great record, one or two fine hairline scuffs, sounds flawless. A mint minus record can "play" mint. Covers are new looking, may have shrink. Excellent - Can have faint hairline scuffs that do no affect play. Can have very minor infrequent crackling. Minor bumps in the cover. VG+ - Scuffs can be more prevalent, with a little more surface noise. If it visually has more scuffs but plays great, I will note that. Still, a very fine and playable copy. Covers have minor age and shelf wear.  VG - Can have lots of hairline scuffs, and maybe one or two scratches. Surface noise more prevalent with some popping in spots. Covers have more extensive age and shelf wear. Minor splits. VG minus - More in the way of scratches and surface noise is NOT infrequent. Still, a viable copy. Covers may have splits.  G+ - only reserved for a very rare or popular record. Very noisy, maybe some skips, scratches are evident. Covers are trashed.  STILL SEALED - I will grade the vinyl as "still sealed." That means it's probably mint minus, but I do not know if there was any factory defects.  Hairline scuffs -  are light yet visible. You cannot feel them with the skin of your finger. (I cannot fathom feeling it with your fingernail as described in Goldmine...why would you do that?) Scratches you can feel. If I am on the fence between grades, I will go with the lower one.  I will not use VG++ etc., but will say that a record is a "strong" VG+. "Age wear" on a cover is either fading or yellowing. "Shelf wear" is ring wear, corner bumps, or fraying
