For auction is a rare true 1st U.K. mono copy of THE BEATLES WHITE ALBUM . Low stampers and no ‘An EMI recording..’ on any label.
Original top loader sleeve is in excellent condition with usual slight discolouration as only issue. Lovely low number 0032261.
Poster is VG . Intact but wear to folding edges.
Photos in VG+ condition
Original black paper inner sleeves in only fair condition.
Record 1. Side 1 visually VG- with scuffs and hairlines. Small jump on first track and some clicks and surface on later tracks. Sonically G+. 1RR stamper.
Side 2 visually and sonically VG-. Hairlines and scuffs with crackles and occasional surface noise. 2RM stamper
Side 3 visually and sonically VG-. Needs a good clean. 1GT stamper
Side 4 grades as side 3. 7LL stamper
So, a super original sleeve with true first press label records. Definitely not audiophile quality sound, but a complete first issue set.
