RECORD AND COVER GRADING - VG+(strong for the record)
Great soft AOR, folk and soul jazz LP. The music flips back and forth with these genres. There is a quiet prog or jazz rock feel at times, like Supertramp, other times they float in a few fuzz guitar notes. There is a funky track on Side Two where they even use a talk box ala Frampton. Nice long electric piano jam on the next track after that, then they get even more funky on the next song. Some very good soft AOR stylings on Side One. This record is just full of great music, I wish I could understand the lyrics!
The record plays excellent overall, just some slight clicks for a while on Side One without any visible problem. The cover is all intact, just some light age and shelf wear. Slight tear in the inner sleeve lyrics sheet.
thanks for looking.
International bidders- I now mostly ship using e-Bays's International Standard Delivery. It sends the item to a shipping center in the U.S. and they send it off from there. If you would like to change the shipping preference please let me know. And as always, I do not change values on customs labels. Thank you.
I can combine shipping! Many times it means I can ship up to 3 LP's U.S. for the same cost as one, and possibly more 45's. International bidders - Combined shipping will be only based on weight, so I will need to know how many items are bought before sending invoice. Thanks again!!
VJ'S VINYL GRADING SYSTEM: (based on Goldmine)
Mint - never used, once a record is opened, the top you can get is mint minus. Mint Minus - A great record, one or two fine hairline scuffs, sounds flawless. A mint minus record can "play" mint. Covers are new looking, may have shrink. Excellent - Can have faint hairline scuffs that do no affect play. Can have very minor infrequent crackling. Minor bumps in the cover. VG+ - Scuffs can be more prevalent, with a little more surface noise. If it visually has more scuffs but plays great, I will note that. Still, a very fine and playable copy. Covers have minor age and shelf wear.  VG - Can have lots of hairline scuffs, and maybe one or two scratches. Surface noise more prevalent with some popping in spots. Covers have more extensive age and shelf wear. Minor splits. VG minus - More in the way of scratches and surface noise is NOT infrequent. Still, a viable copy. Covers may have splits.  G+ - only reserved for a very rare or popular record. Very noisy, maybe some skips, scratches are evident. Covers are trashed.  STILL SEALED - I will grade the vinyl as "still sealed." That means it's probably mint minus, but I do not know if there was any factory defects.  Hairline scuffs -  are light yet visible. You cannot feel them with the skin of your finger. (I cannot fathom feeling it with your fingernail as described in Goldmine...why would you do that?) Scratches you can feel. If I am on the fence between grades, I will go with the lower one.
I will not use VG++ etc., but will say that a record is a "strong" VG+. "Age wear" on a cover is either fading or yellowing. "Shelf wear" is ring wear, corner bumps, or fraying
