GRADING:
EX or some call VG++ Looks brand new. Plays brand new. No obvious signs of wear.
VG+ has been handled, full mirror shine with very light mini-marks or tiny hairlines. Plays smooth and new with no overpowering audible distractions.
VG has noticeable groove wear, and light scratches, retains a strong mirror shine, with light hairlines, possible rub spots and light scuffs. Plays with no distracting sizzle, or crackle but very light crackle can be heard in quiet spots.
G+ (same as VG- no difference IMO) Has been handled unsleeved, and has been well loved, however it is not a bad 45, it plays with very low noise and light sizzling or crackling noise, No loud pops, or ticks. I would say 80-90% of 45 RPM records from the 1950's and early 1960's are in playable condition after a cleaning however they may not look pleasing. A Good, Fair and Poor record will have significant audio distractions, will have loud pops and ticks, but no skips/jumps on my turntable. If a record skips I toss it.
I seriously love shiny and new looking 45's. The grading reflects my desire to present the best possible original recordings with the birth sleeves for discerning collectors who appreciate good music. My goal is for 100% happy customers!
