Broken English - Marianne Faithfull (1979) Island Records (UK) - Vinyl LP
The vinyl is in excellent condition with no visible surface marks or scratches. I've graded the cover as being in good condition - it's perfectly intact and the grading may be a little harsh. The main drawback with the cover is some creasing near the spine and that it just looks less than pristine. Good plus, maybe. Island gave Marianne Faithfull a bespoke record number - this is not an 'ILPS' album; it's catalogue number is 'M1'.
Long regarded as her best recording, 'Broken English' is definitely a career high. The title track takes some beating.
I have sold many LPs on eBay. I package them very carefully, charging P&P at cost. I would never knowingly mislead with my descriptions but should any problem arise, please tell me and I am sure that we will be able to resolve it. I will offer a full refund should any buyer be really unhappy – but this has not happened to date and my feedback is excellent.
