3 LPs: Lynyrd Skynyrd LIVE, Street Survivors, One More From the Road (MCA2-8027-1,MCA-3029, MCA2-8011)
Lynyrd Skynyrd Live Double Gatefold (Tribute Tour 1987: Southern By the Grace of God):
LPs: Both NM No surface scratches glossy, look new and play pure.
Sleeves: Outer: VG/VG+ Glossy, minor LP imprint, Gatefold glossy with some LP imprint wear, some wear on outer corners, slight wear on edges (pics look worse than they are, but I’m honest and want to describe fairly). Gatefold is glossy with some wear from the LP imprint. Inner sleeves: I don’t think this album is supposed to have an insert and I replaced the paper sleeves with quality poly-lined sleeves.Street Survivors Gatefold 1977: LP VG+ has minor surface scratches which don’t interfere with play (sounds clear). The flip side has a name written on the label (my friend’s mom who was a super-hippy and gave me her collection).
Sleeves: Fair Outer sleeve has seen better days with a lot of wear on the edges, worn corners, surface wear, LP imprint and a name written on it. Insert is there and has some ripples. Gatefold is glossy but shows wear. If you’re more interested in sound quality, than cosmetics, you’ll enjoy this album.
One From the Road Double Gatefold 1976:
LPs: VG+ A very few surface scratches that do not interfere with play.Sleeves: Fair Outer sleeve has seen better days and shows wear on surface, corners and edges and the outer edge has a 4” split. Gatefold is glossy but shows some wear on surface, mostly from LP imprints. If you’re more interested in sound quality than cosmetics, you’ll enjoy this album.
I’m also including the album cover for “Second Helping” which has significant edge wear, but would make a cool piece of art, especially if you’re fortunate enough to have a music room.
I left off the poly sleeve for pics. Let me know if you’d like more pics.
The LP is in a new poly-lined paper inner sleeve and the album is in an outer polypropylene sleeve. The record has been cleaned in an anti-static Nitty Gritty Pure solution bath, making it turntable ready.
I’ll be listing a lot of vinyl over the coming weeks. Mostly first press rock ‘n roll baby! I’m selling from my personal collection, most of which I’ve had for 20-30 years. If I list it, it sounds good … I’m picky about what comes out of my JBLs…. Know what I’m saying? Part of my collection (80s rock) consists of records my dad left me when he passed. Many of those albums are still in their shrink wrap and nearly mint. My dad would buy albums, listen to them a couple of times and then store them away. He took great care of his vinyl…. It runs in the family. So keep an eye out… I just may have what you’re looking for.
Let me know if you’d like more pics and please forgive any glare… it’s challenging taking pics of glossy things).
Happy bidding and rock on!
(There’s a slow down with USPS, so please be patient… thank you!)
