TRANSMETAL come from Yurecuaro in Mexico and were founded in 1987. TRANSMETAL, with a name like this you have to do everything possible to justify it, like transcending any metal genre imaginable, or producing your own unique stuff. The guys had plenty of ground for that, because we're talking about 25 studio albums untill 2020. Thus, the five-piece is probably one of the most productive metal bands in music history. Starting out as crude, unpolished, hyperactive Thrash Metal band, they then demonstrated some almost admirable skills in Death Metal before it was decided that this newly acquired attitude wasn't brutal enough to add vehemently vicious Hardcore & Grindcore elements to their subsequent recordings. This ingredient persisted into the early 00s in their sound, only to turn around again and explore new realms again. So the band name makes sense, because the cross section of the genres that the guys moved through in their long history is quite unique and is now captured wonderfully with ''Clasicos''. Here as black vinyl version, limited to 400 copies, comes with a lyric insert.
