Milt Jackson and the Thelonious Monk Quartet recorded at the Apex Studios, NYC, on July 2, 1948 (tracks B3, B4), at the WOR Studios, NYC, on July 23, 1951 (tracks A6 to B2, B6) and on April 7, 1952 (tracks A1 to A5, B5) with mastering by Rudy Van Gelder. This is a 1955 original mono first pressing. Photos show condition and details of actual items.

Album Description

·      VINYL-NM: Album has never been played. A visual review of both sides shows no scuffs or scratches. Flat edge. Side 1: BN-LP-1509-A, Side 2: BN-LP-1509-B and “RVG” and “Ear” etched in runout both sides. Vinyl cleaned using a professional VPI cleaning machine before shipping.

·      RECORD LABELS: Deep-groove, blue and white, “767 Lexington Ave NYC” address.

·      COVER- VG++: Laminated front cover. Front and back surfaces show no marks or writing; edges, corners and spine are excellent condition.

·      SLEEVE: Original paper sleeve.
