Beatles ‘65

Here’s a nice copy of an early Beatles album entitled “Beatles ‘65”.

It was the 4th “proper” release from Capitol Records in the U.S. (not counting The Beatles’ Story or the United Artist released A Hard Day’s Night soundtrack).

Although the title states Beatle’65 it was released in December 1964 just in time for the Christmas shopping season.

The album has a unique sound woven throughout as the band managed to fit some studio time in between a bevy of live dates. This was during the height of Beatlemania but they started to expand their sound as the studio tricks started popping up here and there. The opening feedback on “I Feel Fine” is the perfect example of the great things that would be coming in the next five or so years.

The cover of the album is in very good condition. Minimal shelf wear with plenty of gloss and tight seams. The construction remains sound as does the spine. Some very minor rubbing but still crisp.

The vinyl is shiny and plays great and the labels are clean.

An all around solid copy from 1964 that lends a peek back to the height of Beatlemania with those unique USA mixes not found elsewhere.

From way before the standardized mixes became the rule on a worldwide basis.

The original inner sleeve is also included.
