Alex Wonks' usual straightforward storytelling based on his own
humor and lots of irony is characteristic of the album. Like the
previous albums, the songwriting on UNCLE DADDY again moves
beyond typical genre boxes. So this time, too, synthesizer
hooks and guitar experiments are not dispensed with. The whole
thing is complemented by songs like RAISE MY GLASS or BLOODSTAINS,
for which keyboardist Vez wrote the lyrics and takes over the main
vocals.
A fresh breeze at WONK and a worthy successor to the TERROR
albums. The LP comes on black 180 gram vinyl with
download code and insert card in an inside-out cover
