For auction is a great condition original 1st U.K. issue of The Rolling Stones debut self-titled album on the Decca label LK 4605
Original sleeve in excellent condition- best I have seen - with only very minor wear. Has the original misprinted title track of ‘Mona’ on side one listings.
Original inner sleeve at least VG+
Record has the 2A/3A matrices and what look like 1M/1H stampers.
Decca ‘unboxed’ Labels in excellent condition and, as with the sleeve, side 1 has the ‘Mona’ track title misprint. It is incredibly rare to find such excellent condition early copies when both sleeve and label have this misprint.
Side 1 visually and sonically excellent, with only light wispy marks visible. Side 2 VG+, with a couple of minor scuffs.
Occasional light crackles but no sticks skips or jumps. A very enjoyable listen.
