I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THE TOUR BUS CONSTRUCTION OF THE COVER. WHEN YOU REPLACE THE INNER SLEEVES BACK INTO THE  SLEEVE, YOU WILL SEE BOB MARLEY  AND THE WAILERS, THROUGH THE WINDOW, PLAYING LIVE, ON THIS LEGENDARY TOUR.

I HAVE QUITE A FEW BOB MARLEY ALBUMS, BUT THIS ONE IS MY FAVOURITE, IT JUST SEEMS TO TICK EVERY BOX, YOU WILL REACH FOR IT TIME AND TIME AGAIN, AND WONDER WHY YOU YET AGAIN BYPASSED THE STUDIO ALBUMS?

THE ANSWER MY FRIEND, IS WHAT BOB GELDOF ELOQUENTLY REMARKED, THESE CONCERTS WHERE A CATHEDRAL, A SOULFUL, MELODIC, SHOT OF LOVE, THAT WILL TOUCH AND MASSAGE YOUR VERY SOUL.

THESE CONCERTS IN 1978, TRANSCENDED MUSIC, THIS WAS COMMUNITY, TOTALLY INTEGRATED, EVERYONE WAS WELCOME, BOB WAS LIVING BY EXAMPLE, AND SHOWING US THAT LIVE AND LET LIVE IS THE WAY THAT WAY THAT LIFE SHOULD BE.

THESE CONCERTS CAPTURED BOB AND THE WAILERS AT THE PEAK OF THERE POWERS.

QUITE SIMPLY THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST LIVE ALBUMS OF ALL TIME.

KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS THE ORIGINAL AND RARE 1978 BUS CONSTRUCTION 300 150 CATOLOUGE EDITION, THE SLD 11 EDITION IS MUCH MORE COMMON AND NOT AS COLLECTIBLE, AS QUITE A FEW ARE AROUND FOR SALE.

THIS EDITION THAT YOU ARE VIEWING IS THE EDITION THAT WE RECOMMEND COLLECTING. I ONLY COULD FIND ONE FOR SALE IN THE UK AND IT WAS 99 POUNDS.

THIS SET WAS REPRESSED RECENTLY, MY ADVICE IS TO BUY THE ORIGINAL, THIS IS THE COPY THAT VINYL COLLECTOR'S WILL TRY TO TRACK DOWN. I ALSO DISLIKE THE MODERN REPRESSINGS, BECAUSE THEY WHERE MASS PRODUCED, THIS DOES NOT BODE WELL FOR FUTURE APPRECIATION IN VALUE. I ALSO DISLIKE THE REPRESSINGS BECAUSE THE RELEASE DATE ON THEM IS UNKNOWN. AS A COLLECTOR MYSELF, THIS UNCERTAINTY DOES NOT SIT WELL WITH ME.

Some very light superficial marks, they do affect the sound, I have this on CD, but the vinyl blows it out of the water for audio playback. When the crowd roar, you will feel as if you are at the concert. AUDIO PLAYBACK MUCH CLOSER TO NEAR MINT.

Paper labels have a bit of wear that is not overbearing. If you are from 1978, I bet you have a bit of wear also. I also bet that you are great also, just like this this 2 LP set.

Cover has a small retail sticker on top right hand corner, it's quite faint and not majorably noticeable. Some edge and spine wear that is not overbearing.

This cover has a certain vulnerability, due to the tour bus construction. Because of this I have placed in a clear, protective, heavy duty, PVC outer. This will ensure no further wear for decades to come. My advice is keep the cover in it at all times. It has no gatefold, so no reason to remove. Just slide out the records to play.

I adore the double width spine, I'm a big fan of these.

The jewel in the crown is the original, atlas tour style inner sleeves, with the concert photography. This is essential for this release. If you are buying elsewhere, check this out. If they are missing, then this release will not work, or look right. You need to see the band looking out the tour bus window.

We grade all our records as honesty as we can and will point out all the little details that we think you, as a collector needs to know!

We use the UK Record Collector Grading System for all our vinyl, I will not cut and paste this here, as you can goggle this very easily, instead I will explain sone misunderstandings, that arise from time to time.

Grade Excellent does not mean, New, or like New, this would be graded as Mint.

I rarely sell Mint,I only use this grade if the record is sealed and unopened,or if it has been very rarely,or never played.

I do however use Near Mint, I use this grade when I am absolutely delighted with the quality and audio playback of the vinyl.

A cut above grade Excellent!

Grade Excellent is a record that has been well looked after and stored by a conscientious collector and shows evidence of being played, quite a few times, but never abused, and handled very carefully.

Grade Very Good means reasonable wear or tear considering the age of the record or cover.

If you are buying anything below grade VG please have no expectations! The price should reflect the grade. I would only buy grade Good or below if I could not afford VG or EXCELLENT.

This is quite a cost effective way of collecting, you can buy up to 4 albums and the postage will be the same.
