DETAILS: First and foremost... These are in rough shape. The auction is for a set of two United Nations Archive acetates called "Music of Afghanistan" 4 songs in total, they play at 78 RPM. These appear to be field recording format of Afghan folk songs. The songs are all great. We don't normally sell records in this condition, but we've never seen anything like these in 30 years of being in the record business, so we figured we'd offer them up for sale. So please read all of the following details and check out the photos before bidding.
DESCRIPTION ARTIST: N/A TITLE: Music of Afghanistan LABEL: United Nations Archives CAT#: N/A
CONDITION COVER: NO COVER (these are acetates and will ship in plain white sleeves) VINYL: G+ • Both Acetates are in extremely rough shape and are very ugly. They play surprisingly well considering what they look like. 2 of the sides have really loud pops for several rotations. No deep scratches that stick, but a couple of pops that maybe jump the needle a tiny bit. The other 2 sides play pretty great with just some background noise and maybe a pop here or there. I tried to take a couple of detailed photos... please take a look before bidding. LABELS: VG
