This is a 'One Little Independent' nationwide LTD Edition release March 2022 as part of a new vinyl single reissue series of the Crass Label.

The main track of this EP 'Girl On The Run' by Honey Bane (originally of the band Fatal Microbes) captures all the spirit of late 70’s anarcho-punk with furious lo-fi guitars and a DIY aesthetic. It was the debut release on Crass Records’ the then newly found label, Crass Records. One Little Independent release it as part of a new vinyl single reissue series of Crass label releases.

Honey Bane began her musical career at the age of 14 in 1978 when she formed the punk rock band the Fatal Microbes. The band released a split 12" record with anarcho-punk band Poison Girls the same year. The first single, "Violence Grows" garnered some press attention and was given positive reviews by the British music paper Sounds. After the 1979 breakup of the Fatal Microbes, and a stint in a juvenile detention facility and a acting part on the film Scrubbers garnered Honey Babe more press attention , Bane than began a collaboration with Crass, while she was on the run from the Social Services after serving a sentence at the St. Charles Youth Treatment Centre in Essex. Lending lead vocals and backed by the band under the name Donna and the Kebabs, Crass released the EP You Can Be You in 1979. The following year, Bane released her debut solo single, "Guilty", and sang vocals for Killing Joke on "What's the Matter" during a February 1980 gig at London's Venue club. The recording was later released on a bootleg album, Killing Joke - Live At The Venue LP. Later years and signed to EMI records and now managed by Sham 69's Jummy Pursey saw a pop hit 'Turn Me On Turn Me Off' that even got Bane on TOTP reaching no. 37 in the national charts!Further singles followed released between 1981 and 1983. But only one more appeared in the UK Singles Chart 'Baby Love' reaching 58' and her musical career floundered, when Bane left her contract with EMI, frustrated with the direction her music was being forced by her label a deput album never hit the ground. In 2015 though, Bane released her first full studio album Acceptance of Existence, which was over ten years in the making. She released it independently via her own website. She is expeted to make a long overdue live return at The Rebellion Festival UK Aug. 2022"
