Catalog: UK Island ILPS 9200 Original Palm Tree Pink Rim Sunray Label. 

Jacket: Near mint minus only for slight age showing on the opening edge and a small ding in the top right corner, otherwise near mint. No splits and the laminated finish is still full intact (See photos). Pale blue Island poly lined inner sleeve included. Record is stored and will be shipped in plain white paper inner sleeve. I never liked the soft poly pressing against the record. 

LP: This copy looks as new spotless and plays great !! There are a few very light ticks once in a great while (these pressings were never dead quiet) but no pops, surface noise or other!!! Tremendous copy !!!

Notes: The cover features model Kari-Ann Muller, one of the rare Roxy models who didn't date Bryan Ferry. She later married Mick Jagger's brother Chris and appeared in the James Bond film "On Her Majesty’s Secret Service". The album has been released in different packages over the years. The album's original cover, as issued in 1972 by Island Records, featured a gatefold sleeve picturing the band in stage attire and did not include "Virginia Plain."
