For sale is a rare 3rd U.K. mono issue from1963 of The Beatles debut album Please Please Me
These 3rd issue copies were very short lived - the labels were now yellow and gold but did not have the future issues ‘Recording First Published…’ text.
Original Ernest J Day sleeve in at least VG+ condition
Original use Emitex inner sleeve in VG- condition
Record visually is VG- with scuffs and hairlines but nothing too deep or worrying.
Labels are VG+. Early stampers- 2RP and 1RG
Sonically VG- . Crackles in quiet passages and between tracks and some clicks but no sticks skips or jumps.
Not an audiophile copy but plays through and is a very rare issue.
