This is part of a big auction of Checker & Chess 45's I'm running this week. There are lots of rarities and few Chicago-area surprise items here. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a Vee-Jay/DeLuxe Records auction starting 6/12 and King/Federal auction in late June.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Jon Thomas And His Orchestra - Rib Tips / Hi Fi
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1955
Notes: A-side is a cool Chicago Blue style track, where he's literally just listing kinds of food. Odd, but very interesting. B-Side is a bluesy instrumental. Maroon and silver labels.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, great looking vinyl. Very clean with just a couple of stray hairlines int he play area. Plays VG++/EX and sounds great - no background noise at all on my machine. There is little bit of storage scuffing visible in the run off when held in light. Labels are very clean as well with just some very light scuffing to the silver. Very strong copy overall.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
