Grading

All 45 rpm records sold are visually inspected. Photos are provided and a detailed description is given of the record, label and cover. From there the buyer can grade the record.

I use Goldmine Grading standards for LP's and 45's and VJM Grading Standards for 78's which can be subjective defined as "based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions". I provide the best accurate grade for all records listed.  

The records are clean with a Spin-Clean MK ll Record Washer before packing for shipment.

 Shipping

All 45"s and LP's are removed from their covers and or sleeves to limit the possibility of damage during shipping. Your purchase is then wrapped in bubble and shrink wrap. Your purchase is then placed in a commercial cardboard record mailer labeled with "Fragile" and "Do Not Bend" stickers.

All 78's are sandwiched between to cardboard protector sheets then wrapped in bubble and shrink wrap. Your purchase is then placed in a 6" x 12" x12" cardboard shipping box surrounded by shipping peanuts labeled with a "Fragile" sticker. This type of packaging for 78 rpm shellac records is demanded by 78 rpm buyers. These phonograph records are NOT vinyl records! The higher shipping fee is due to the over packaging of 78 rpm records which are extremely fragile when pressed in shellac. 

Every effort is made to see that your purchase is protected during shipment so that it arrives safely.

All records are shipped USPS Media Mail or Priority Mail as per customers request.

All shipping cost varies by buyer location.

Shipping is free for all orders over $100.00.

All 78's regardless of cost are insured.

All 78's orders are shipped Priority Mail only to lessen the time and possible damage to the shipment. 

We do not control the time frames the postal service list for deliveries. Delays due to weather and or the postal service operational procedures do occur. A tracking number is provided to monitor the delivery progress of your purchase. 

Please do not pay for any items if you wish to have them combined. Contact us so we may provide a revised invoice.
