This is part of a big auction of mainly early Atlantic 45's I'm running this week. There are a few cool bonus listings as well. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a small label auction starting 9/11 as well.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Budd Johnson and His Orchestra - Off Shore / Don't Take Your Love From Me
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1954
Notes: Great little jazz instrumental on side A. Another of the really great forgotten Atlantic artists. Later recorded as Buddy Johnson in a more R&B vein.
Vinyl Condition: VG, vinyl itself is in nice shape with just a handful of very light scratches/scuffs. It also has some light hazing from liquid exposure. Play tested on AT-LP120 & both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are pretty nice, no writing or tears, but do have some dirtiness/staining. Solid copy but not top grade.
Sleeve: The sleeves on most of the records I'm selling were in bad shape due to liquid exposure. I have replaced them with period-correct, original vintage sleeves that I had as extras. They are the proper sleeves for the records, but not the actual sleeve that was sold with the particular record. All are in nice shape with just light wrinkling and no tears or splits.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
