1976 Caribou Sampler CAB PU Epic Boston Starcastle Picture Disc MISPRINT RARE.

I don’t think I’ve quite come across a record like this. This record was originally released in the fall of 1976 by Caribou Records, with an Elk on a picture disc, under the title Fall Release with the following tracking listing

This auction is for a picture disc with side one being the artwork of Starcastle’s first album and side two being the artwork of Boston’s first album. Both of these albums were released in 1976 as well, but they were released on the Epic label, so I am not sure how they made it on this Caribou sampler. The track listing from the Caribou Sampler remains, so it does not contain music from Boston or Starcastle, but instead James Vincent, L.A. Express, and O.C. Smith.

There is an etching on both sides which can be seen in the photos. There is a line going through the art on both sides on the left. It’s not a scratch but it’s in the artwork.
