Monsters of Folk, a supergroup consisting of Conor Oberst/Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes), Jim James (My Morning Jacket), M. Ward (solo and She & Him) and Will Johnson (Centro-matic) started working on the collaboration in 2004 and released the limited edition LP in 2009. I purchased the album new at Amoeba Records in LA and played it only once.
