THE COMMITTEE are ready to rumble in 2020 with their 3rd full lenght album ''Utopian Deception'' and present 6 tracks, in a total of just under 46 minutes. With ''Power Through Unity'' from 2014 and ''Memorandum Occultus'' in 2017, the internationally composed blackened comando with its headquarter in Belgium has already shown that they can present well & have developed an excellent status in the scene. Rooted in Black Metal, but also with a certain affinity for Doom heaviness and atmospheric, long drawned songs, the main gimmick was the anonymity and hooded presentation of the band. And now in 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic, THE COMMITTEE are back to add another, third, hateful chapter to the history book opened so far. The songs on ''Utopian Deception'' describe a new story that leads into the depths of the human spirit, where social engineering prevails, a journey whose path is shaped by the double standards, manipulation and twisted euphemisms of this new modern world. From the depths, the sick arms of evil and misery rise up to create a new world. A barbarian into which humanity is being thrown, leaving behind only scorched earth and brittle bones. In year 2020, THE COMMITTEE in no case can´t be said to lack variety. Here the limited black vinyl version in a gatefold cover comes with a 30x30cm 16-page booklet.
