This is part of a big auction full of rockabilly record from Checker, Decca, Imperial and several very small label.  Great stuff that doesn't come up for sale often.  Many of these are promos or have original sleeves and almost all all are in great shape.

Release: Gene Terry - No Mail Today / Never Let Her Go

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1958

Notes: The first of just a few records Terry released in the 50's. Pretty classic rockabilly sound with piano and guitar instrumentation, but definitely has a Cajun flair in the vocal. The b-side is more of a ballad and almost leans into doo-wop instrumentation.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. There is some light storage scuffing in the runoff. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Label is super-clean with no marks/tears/stickers.  This is an overall really nice copy.
