This is an original UK album of the Rolling Stones classic album Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass). The first compilation album by the Rolling Stones, and reached number four in the UK album charts and number three in the Bilboard US charts. It stayed in the US charts for 99 weeks.

This records is from my own personal collection and has not been via any other users or dealers.

It has not been used for maybe 25 years or more apart from recently, prior to sale. Therefore wear due to years of playing is low. It has retained its sheen and was used on good quality equipment and have been stored in a proper, upright stand.

The outer cover is in excellent/near-mint condition, bright and shiny, slight scuff on part of edges and corners. Eight colour photos in near-mint condition on pages within the album, together with text and list of tracks.

'Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) The Rolling Stones Decca Mono TXL 101' is visible along the closed edge of the cover.

The original inner sleeve is in very good condition with no hard creases or tears, with inner pvc liner intact. Slight discolouring around edge.

The vinyl surface is in very good + condition, with a few slight whispy marks visible under certain lighting conditions are superficial and does not effect the sound quality which is excellent, otherwise this would be graded as near mint.

Both sides play realy well and clear throughout

From my research this is a First Version indicated by thick front cover, and Mono TXL101 identified on spine only. This cover was used 1966-1969. There were up to five Versions. Please satisfy yourself of the information if you desire.

Identifiers on the recording include Mono TXL101 on cover.
