Charles Mingus-Mingus Ah Um LP Columbia Mono CL-1370 6-Eye DG 1st Pressing Vinyl.
This Is The 1st Mono Pressing Released In 1959 On Columbia. Both Sides Have The “6-Eye” Label And 70mm Deep Groove Press Ring. Side 1 Label Has The Song Titles Split Above And Below Spindle Hole And Has Wider Spacing Within The Font(This Differs From The Other Early Mono Pressing). Runouts Have “XLP47456-1D” And “XLP47457-1D” Stampers.
The Record Has Some Superficial Scuffs And Marks But Overall Really Nice w/High Shine(VG+). However Playback Is Unbelievable And Would Consider This One A Hot Plate. It Could The Fact That It’s A Deep Groove But Regardless It’s Probably The Best Sounding Record I’ve Ever Heard From The 50’s. Plus This Is One Of The Most Important Records Ever Recorded. Of Any Genre.
The Cover Has Some Wear But Better Than Average Condition(VG+).
